APEC leaders unite in battle against COVID-19
World leaders have united in a pledge to expand vaccine co-operation in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, during an informal leaders’ retreat for the APEC group.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison joined the United States, Russia and Chinese presidents and more than a dozen other nations for the virtual meeting.
Emergency talks focused on an action plan to ramp up global vaccine production and distribution after the global death toll passed four million.
