LOVE Island fans have joked that they’d “sent out a search party” for Teddy Soares after the new hunk “went missing” during tonight’s episode.

Viewers were left furious after the 26-year-old senior financial consultant was left with barely any screen-time in the jam-packed instalment.

Love Island kicked off this evening with Brad and Lucinda forced to decide who will be leaving the villa from their couple after being voted least compatible.

Dramatic scenes saw Brad insist that he should be the one to get dumped â€" while emotional Lucinda was accused of being “secretly glad” he’d left after she refused to walk out alongside him.

Faye quickly confronted Lucinda on this â€" with the blonde beauty shown crying later in the evening as she clutched onto Brad’s jumper.

Chloe and Toby then had a run-in as she accused the semi-pro footballer of being “fake” when he shared his disappointment that their pairing was also voted in the bottom three “least compatible.”

The following day was even more dramatic, with the boys and girls going head to head in a challenge that would land the winning team a bombshell of the opposite sex.

The boys ended up winning, and newcomer Andrea-Jane, AJ for short, made her sexy entrance just before the credits rolled.

With all this going on, there wasn’t much time leftover for some of the Islanders â€" with fans particularly struck by how little airtime Teddy had received.

The hunk’s last big scene was when he snogged Faye on the terrace earlier this week, and he has featured minimally ever since.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to share their outrage, with one writing: “Is Teddy missing or something I haven’t seen him this episode what the hell”.

Another fumed: “I swear Teddy’s been missing all through this episode!”

Teddy made his shock arrival into the villa just last week, and held the girls’ fate in his hands during the re-coupling ceremony on Sunday night.

Rachel ended up being sent home after he chose to pair up with Faye, but she has since admitted her concerns that she might not be ready to open up to him.
